Rahul

ICICI Bank has announced a strategic collaboration with Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) to develop an eight-storey facility at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC) in Visakhapatnam. The upcoming centre is designed to support the treatment of approximately 3,000 patients annually.

The bank has pledged over ₹550 crore towards the project, which will span 3.9 lakh square feet and be equipped with state-of-the-art medical infrastructure. Named the ICICI Foundation Block for Child and Blood Cancer, the facility will form a crucial part of HBCHRC, which has the capacity to cater to 6,200 patients in total.

Once completed, the new block will offer more than 215 inpatient beds, making it one of the largest specialised cancer care centres in the country. The project is targeted for completion by 2027, pending regulatory approvals. Its execution will be managed by the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, the CSR arm of ICICI Bank.
