Gautam Khanna Joins Nathealth Foundation Board to Strengthen Healthcare Leadership

The Nathealth Foundation has announced the appointment of Gautam Khanna to its board, bringing with him extensive expertise in healthcare management, strategic leadership, and fostering cross-sector collaborations. Already serving as a General Council Member of Nathealth, Khanna’s inclusion on the board reflects the Foundation’s commitment to advancing a resilient, inclusive, and innovation-driven healthcare ecosystem in India.

Currently the CEO of PD Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Khanna has played a crucial role in promoting patient-centred care, operational efficiency, and institutional innovation. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta, he previously spent over 20 years with 3M, where he led its healthcare businesses across South Asia. Beyond his executive responsibilities, Khanna actively contributes to national healthcare policies and quality standards, serving on the Quality Council of India’s APEX Steering Committee for Accreditation++. He also serves as president of the Association of Hospitals (Mumbai).

Khanna’s industry involvement includes several key leadership positions. He previously chaired the FICCI Health Services Committee (2022–23) and led the FICCI Medical Device Forum, advocating for comprehensive reforms in healthcare delivery and regulatory frameworks. His additional roles include participation in the healthcare and hospital initiatives task force at IIT Kanpur and serving on the executive committee of PAN IIT Alumni India (2022–2025).

Expressing his enthusiasm about the appointment, Khanna stated, “I am honoured to join the Nathealth Foundation Board and contribute towards its vision of creating accessible, equitable, and high-quality healthcare for all. My commitment remains firm in supporting initiatives that drive innovation, build institutional capabilities, and deliver measurable outcomes across the healthcare sector.
