Chandan Healthcare Secures 10-Year PPP To Launch Advanced Radiology Centres In Punjab

By Team VOH

Chandan Healthcare Limited (NSE: CHANDAN), a leading diagnostics and healthcare provider in North India, has been awarded a 10-year Public Private Partnership by the Punjab Health Systems Corporation under the Department of Health and Family Welfare to develop, operate, and maintain Radiology Imaging Diagnostic Centres across Punjab, with an estimated project cost of ₹226 crore.

The initiative aims to enhance diagnostic infrastructure in government hospitals and expand access to advanced imaging services for patients. Under the project, Chandan Healthcare will set up centres with 3 Tesla MRI scanners at District Hospitals in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, and Tarn Taran, and a 128-slice CT scanner at SDH Batala. These centres are expected to improve diagnostic capabilities, reduce the need for patients to travel to other cities, and enable earlier diagnosis and better treatment outcomes.

The project will strengthen Punjab’s public healthcare infrastructure by providing high-quality radiology services using advanced technology and established operating standards. Chandan Healthcare will leverage its experience from a previous PPP engagement with the Uttarakhand government to ensure effective implementation.

This expansion into government partnerships complements the company’s existing B2B and B2C operations, diversifies revenue streams, and enhances long-term revenue stability, while continuing its focus on patient-centric diagnostic services.
