NBCC (India) Limited’s wholly-owned subsidiary, HSCC (India) Limited, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to enhance India’s healthcare infrastructure. The collaboration aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem for medical devices, healthcare IT, consultancy, and maintenance services, supporting the government’s push for domestic healthcare solutions.
The MoU covers a wide range of initiatives, including the manufacturing and supply of medical devices, development of digital healthcare solutions, consultancy and project execution, joint procurement, annual maintenance contracts, and advisory services. Each project will be implemented through specific agreements tailored to its requirements.
This partnership is expected to boost the adoption of indigenous healthcare solutions while strengthening the country’s digital healthcare capabilities. By combining HSCC’s expertise in infrastructure and project execution with BEL’s technological and manufacturing capabilities, the collaboration aims to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of healthcare products and services across India.
The strategic MoU aligns with national efforts to promote self-reliance in healthcare and modernize the sector through integrated, technology-driven solutions.
