L&T Vyoma, SRIT India Tie Up To Launch Sovereign Cloud For Digital Health Services

By Team VOH

Larsen & Toubro-Vyoma, the AI-ready cloud and hyperscale data centre business of L&T, has partnered with Bengaluru-based SRIT India Ltd, an IT solutions provider with expertise in large-scale e-health, e-governance, telecom and mission-critical systems, to launch a sovereign cloud platform for healthcare and other critical services.

The collaboration will see SRIT introduce SRIT Cloud, a sovereign, India-localised platform built on Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology-compliant infrastructure from Vyoma. The platform is designed to meet the strict requirements of public, joint and private sector entities in healthcare and related digital services, ensuring data sovereignty, high availability, and operational reliability.

SRIT Cloud will offer a fully integrated stack from applications to infrastructure, powered by Vyoma’s hyperscale cloud capabilities. This enables healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, laboratories and government institutions to deploy digital health solutions with responsive scalability, improved performance for mission-critical systems, reduced downtime, and faster implementation of platforms.

All of SRIT’s e-health platforms, including the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals-certified e-health systems, will now be available on a software-as-a-service model. This allows healthcare organisations to adopt these solutions at lower cost and with reduced operational complexity while maintaining compliance and high standards of service delivery.

The partnership also supports the broader national digital health agenda by providing a secure and scalable cloud foundation for digital transformation. By combining Vyoma’s sovereign cloud infrastructure with SRIT’s expertise in e-health, the collaboration aims to accelerate adoption of cloud-based healthcare ecosystems, improve access to technology-driven health services, and enhance operational efficiency for both public and private sector health institutions.

The Vyoma-SRIT collaboration addresses three key national priorities: data sovereignty, high availability, and affordable digital transformation in healthcare. It establishes a comprehensive application and infrastructure service model for HealthTech in India, enabling faster deployment, integrated support, and reliable service for millions of citizens and healthcare providers nationwide.
