AI-Powered Nursing EdTech Startup NPrep Secures Pre-Seed Funding for Expansion

NPrep, an AI-driven nursing education startup, has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round led by All In Capital, with participation from IIMA Ventures, Aayush Phumbhra (founder of U.S.-based edtech company Chegg), and several family offices and angel investors.

Founded in 2024 by Dr. Prince Kaushik, Dr. Utkarsh Paliwal, and Dr. Gourav Khurana—three doctors from AIIMS Jodhpur—along with AI/ML specialist Shrey Gupta, NPrep is building a personalised learning and placement platform aimed at transforming nursing education in India.

The platform offers over 1,300 hours of AI-powered adaptive training, which includes simulated clinical scenarios, automated assessments, and individualised learning paths tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses.

With the latest round of funding, NPrep plans to expand its course offerings, further enhance its AI learning engine, and strengthen partnerships with hospitals and healthcare institutions to improve student placements. The company also aims to scale operations across India in FY26, with ambitions to tap into international placement opportunities by FY27.

“In just six months, we’ve grown from 10,000 to 40,000 users,” said Prince Kaushik, co-founder and CEO. “Our goal is to create a fully personalised environment so that every nursing student can learn independently, without relying on outdated systems.”

To improve both clinical competency and employability, NPrep uses generative AI to deliver mock interviews, resume reviews, and targeted learning. The platform is also working on regional language support to expand its accessibility in tier-II and tier-III cities.

The company highlighted India’s critical shortage of qualified nursing professionals—an issue stemming from outdated curricula, lack of infrastructure, and inconsistent training. NPrep estimates that India will need over 15 million skilled nurses to match the healthcare standards of developed nations.

Aditya Singh, partner at All In Capital, said, “The NPrep team brings medical expertise, a strong tech focus, and a mission-driven mindset. Their approach to test prep and upskilling is timely and impactful.”
