Chennai-based Neuberg Diagnostics Group has announced the appointment of Kavya Velu as its new President – Strategy & Operations.
The daughter of founder Dr. GSK Velu, Kavya has been instrumental in establishing Neuberg’s international footprint in the US and spearheading its evolution into a process-driven, scalable, and consumer-centric healthcare brand.
Dr. Velu, a first-generation entrepreneur, has built a diversified healthcare group with revenues exceeding $700 million through ventures including Neuberg Diagnostics, Trivitron Healthcare, Maxivision Eye Hospitals, Kauvery Hospitals Group, and other healthcare and financial services businesses.
In her new role, Kavya will be responsible for corporate strategy, operations, and organisational development. She has been tasked with strengthening systems, ensuring IPO preparedness, and enhancing patient experience across Neuberg’s network.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, New York, with a degree in psychology and pre-law, Kavya also serves as Promoter and Director on the boards of Trivitron Healthcare and Maxivision Eye Hospitals. She is currently the Convener of the Young Leadership Panel of FICCI Tamil Nadu.
