Anderson Diagnostics, MAHE Launch Centre Of Excellence For Reproductive Genomics

By Team VOH

Anderson Diagnostics, in partnership with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), has inaugurated a Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Genomics, marking a significant milestone in India’s genomic healthcare and fertility research landscape. The centre is designed to integrate clinical diagnostics, research, and innovation, providing comprehensive solutions in reproductive health and genomics, including fertility, genetic risk assessment, and personalized interventions.

The facility aims to bridge cutting-edge genetic technologies with clinical applications, focusing on preconception, prenatal, and reproductive medicine. It will support advanced genomic testing, research programs, and academic collaborations, leveraging molecular genetics, reproductive biology, bioinformatics, and AI-enabled data analytics to enhance understanding of genetic factors affecting fertility, reproduction, and offspring health.

The Centre of Excellence will function as a national hub for reproductive genomics, offering training programs, mentorship, and skill development for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals. It is expected to facilitate the development of new diagnostics, therapeutic approaches, and precision medicine strategies, enabling better patient care and targeted reproductive healthcare interventions.

This initiative aligns with the broader goal of advancing reproductive healthcare in India, improving access to sophisticated fertility solutions, and fostering evidence-based interventions. By combining the clinical expertise of Anderson Diagnostics with MAHE’s academic and research capabilities, the centre is positioned to drive innovation, translational research, and global collaboration in reproductive genomics, supporting India’s leadership in genomic medicine and personalized healthcare solutions.
